A bit about me
Quite conventional beginnings: after passing my school-leaving exam I started a Mathematics course at the University of Bielefeld, which I completed provisionally by gaining my degree certificate. I started working for the IT Department of a well-known German retail group, in applications development, while I was still a student.
That gave me a lot of insight into process sequences and requirements for the development of complex business applications. Having got my first degree, I then started on my doctorate, at the same time working in the Faculty computer laboratory.
How I came to infinity³
It’s a distance of about 20 km, via Lenzighausen, Jöllenbeck and Theesen to the new station district of Bielefeld, and in good weather I enjoy cycling there.
OK, after nearly five years with a telecommunications company an opportunity arose to join infinity³ GmbH. One of the people who runs it is a former fellow student of mine from university days. It wasn’t a hard decision for me, as I had already met quite a few of my future colleagues and knew and appreciated them personally. And believe me, to this day I have never regretted that decision.
What I like about infinity³
At infinity³ I am always faced with interesting challenges which I tackle with my committed and talented colleagues. And the working atmosphere could hardly be better. We all pull together, just as a real team should.
