Sandra Theiner Introducing Sandra Theiner
Management Assistant
(B.A. in International Business Studies)

A bit about me

My career followed a fairly conventional path: after leaving school I trained as a Design Assistant. After that I took an International Business Studies course at the University of Paderborn. Before that I studied Graphic Design for two semesters, which brought me the personal benefits of more creativity and openness. The move from a creative environment to a commercial one was a big change, but it was also a big step forward. With my Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in the bag and three months spent in the States, the next step was direct entry to the working world.

How I came to infinity³

…it was just the way I could have wished it to happen. It all started with me working for a well-known internationally operating telecommunications group: first a period of practical training in the Personnel Department, followed a year later by my practice-oriented dissertation. And as fate will sometimes have it, during that time I met my current boss. I have been a Management Assistant at infinity³ since 2005.

What I like about infinity³

In my job as a Management Assistant I work just as closely with my colleagues as with my boss. Every day brings fresh tasks and challenges for me and there is always new scope for my creative ideas. My main responsibilities do nowadays lie in the field of marketing and organisation, where I am facing a wide variety of different and exciting tasks.

As originally the only woman in this young company and a non-"techy”, I feel I have been made very welcome and well integrated. Even if the discussion is often about technical details – especially at lunchtimes – it doesn't do any harm. I think that must have something to do with the relaxed and easy way people talk here - that’s something I particularly appreciate about infinity³.
